John Woodhouse is reported in so many versions of the history of Marsala into the world. Supposedly he was the main man who discovered this fortified wine on the western coast of Sicily, in Marsala, and exported it in Northern Europe for it to become a pillar of the beverage industry. Our Woodhouse is Lough Gill homage to him, a straight up Marsala Barrel Aged Imperial stout, in 750ml bottle, cork and cage for such a precious sharing moment with your families and friends.
An important drink that we imagine is best enjoyed on a couch with your best friend in front of a fireplace, smoothening a cold season evening.
